What to expect the day of your flight -
You will meet your pilot at a designated place and time. We will take
you in our chase vehicles to a launch site. The pilot will pick a launch
site based on wind direction and wind speed. Our crew will get all the
equipment out and help the pilot inflate the balloon. At this time you are
encouraged to take pictures and you may help with the inflation if you would
like to. After the balloon is fully inflated, the pilot will motion when
it's time to board your chariot. The crew will be happy to help anyone
into the basket that needs it. It is suggested that your party wears
pant/shorts and closed-toed shoes to make getting in and out of the basket
easier. Make sure your remember your cameras (standard, digital, and/or
video) because you will want to capture your birds eye view. Once everyone
is aboard, your pilot will start burning and you will slowly ascend into the
sky. once in the air your pilot will serve beverages - Champagne,
Sparkling Cider (upon request), sodas and water. Your flight will last
about 1 hour and you will be met by the crew upon landing. Though
your flight will last around an hour, you need to be prepared to be with us 3-4
hours to allow for transportation, set-up, flight, pack-up, and return to our
meeting site.
